Cryptocurrencies in 2022

The most current problem with all cryptocurrencies is their correlation to Bitcoin which is way too high!

The more I investigate the altcoins and the business standing behind each and every individual project, I wish they traded differently to the direction of Bitcoin!

Sadly, if Web3.0 is going to be a next big thing in 2022 and beyond, I would expect more freedom from BTC as a main driver of emotions in the entire cryptospace. I do think it’s high time to stop trading all altcoins in the same direction as BTC moves. It’s boring, guys! BTC is great but let’s be honest… Mind your own business and go for it…!

The crypto projects are strong enough to survive no matter what the rest thinks of Bitcoin. I view 2022 as an opportunity to perform individual quantitative analyses on the value every crypto-asset can bring to the table. When you inspect the Instagram today, you can be fooled by the endless stream of posts saying or suggesting, e.g. buy XRP (Ripple.com) or QNT coin as they will skyrocket in 2022. People tend to grab random opportunities with no guarantee of success! The proper risk management is key, here.

Dare to invest the amounts you can afford to lose in a day or five. It may happen. Otherwise, plan your crypto-portfolio wisely.

No doubt, there are plenty of hidden crypto-gems out there. No one surely expected Solana (SOL) or Terra (LUNA) to close 2021 with the PnL of 11,100+% and 12,500+%, respectively. But, will they keep their momentum? No one knows that!

A fate of Bitcoin is forecasted as low as U\$40,000 and as high as U\$200,000. All volatility models may be wrong. The risk is high though it’s tempting.

In my view, the coins falling under Web3.0 are worth researching. Investing in any one of them is highly risky. But the probability of high-profits is non-zero. Approach the field with extra caution. It might be your year or…

Keep safe. Be brave. Be careful.

All the best in 2022! :)
